Ever heard the term ‘batting your lashes’ and wondered, “what on earth is there to bat”? If yes, then girl you need these tips more than another pair of fake lashes or volumizing mascara. Read on!
-
Castor Oil
This one’s probably the most common and effective remedy ever. Castor oil is a powerful follicle-simulator, a.k.a., growth simulant. Mix castor oil and a drop of Vitamin E oil and dab it over your lashes with a Q-tip. Leave it overnight and rinse with warm water the morning after.
-
Green Tea
Mix some warm water and green tea leaves (a tea bag will also work just fine) and gently apply on to your lashes using a cotton ball. The green tea stimulates the growth of longer and healthier lashes.
-
Lemon Peels
Orange peels may not exactly be your eyes’ BFF but lemon peels surely are. At least for your lashes. The peels are loaded with nutrients like folic acid, vitamins B and A. Soak some dried lemon peels in olive or castor oil for a couple of weeks. Use a Q-tip or clean mascara wand to apply the concoction on your lashes before going to bed. Wash off with warm water in the morning.
-
Aloe Vera
The natural beauty imparting prowess of aloe vera are many, and giving you gorgeous lashes is one of them. The gel not only supports the growth of thick and lashes lashes, but also keeps them moisturized. Just apply some aloe vera gel on your lashes and wash off with warm water after keeping it on over night.

Olive Oil
Olive Oyl may not have had lashes (like, none!) but olive oil definitely can give you a healthy bunch. Rich in Vitamin E and oleic acid, it keeps your lashes dark and voluminous. Using a clean mascara brush put slightly warm olive oil on you lashes. Leave overnight and wash it in the morning with warm water.
Now get ready to bat away!
