Envy Mood: Relax your body & rest your mind

This weekend has started the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh, at the feet of the Himalayas.

Known widely as the ‘Birth Place of Yoga’, Rishikesh has over the years witnessed millions of yoga followers and practitioners throng its saintly landscape. Literally translating to “union”, Yoga is the ancient Hindu system of holistic well-being.

It’s time to get comfy! Relax your body, rest your mind and caress your soul…

An oil massage, a warm bath with  bubbles and scented soaps or other forms of pampering revitalize you inside and out. And taking time out to treat your body like the temple has so much benefits for a healthy lifestyle.

Pamper yourself and give your body some special treatments:
– Toning Body Scrub from Thalgo
– Soy Blueberry Body Wash from Eminence Organics
– Almond Delicious Paste from L’Occitane
Indoceane Silky Smooth Cream from Thalgo
– Lavender Body Lotion from L’Occitane

Envy Fashion: The coolest breakaway trends

We rounded up the coolest breakaway trends on our fashion radar – try now, think later
By Shruti Thacker and Divyak D’Souza

Hide your pretty baubles and get some serious punk credentials with Lanvin-like layers of chains and Versace spikes and studs for full-throttle glamour. Pair with a cool carelessness to pull off the look.

Only the brave can go all the way with this trend. Play peek-a-boo with a lace bra under a sheer shirt à la Preen or go the Louis Vuitton way and wear your satin slip as a dress.

Paul Smith, Céline and Pringle of Scotland took the sleeve to new lengths, giving it a cosy, luxurious, borrowed-from-your-boyfriend appeal.

Backpacks are no longer just for kids. Lavish with fringes and prints or minimalist with soft leather, this bag comes out of the classroom to play.

It’s not just jackets and camo-print, even detailing gets a military makeover. Whether it’s brooches like at DSquared2 or Burberry and Mulberry’s buttons and zips, this one gets a 21-gun salute from us.

This is the season of extremes, from Prada’s subversive necklines flaunting bare shoulders to austere high necks at Missoni. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

The marriage of the classic pump and the risqué thigh-high boot gave us the pump boot. Ferragamo, Moschino and Aminaka Wilmont led this trend with clean cuts, rich leather and a polished finish, making boots acceptable, even covetable, evening footwear.

Add some bright to your look with ZOYA nail polish

With Stella McCartney, Prada and Carven’s stamps of approval, these strong, heavy shoes with
a rubber tractor-tyre sole are the shoes of the season. Who said trendy can’t be comfortable?

This season, the opulence of velvet is restricted to accessories and trimmings. Shoes, bags, collars – you name it, velvet’s on it.

Take a cue from DSquared2, who paid tribute to the ‘70s with shimmery wide disco pants, or keep it utilitarian in mud browns and military greens like Haider Ackermann. Our tip: Pair these voluminous trousers with fitted pullovers and jersey tops.
